Greetings future DITO users!
There are still some of you that didn't know or keeps asking when will DITO Telecom will start. And if DITO Telecom already available in your area.
I found this one that might help you to check whether DITO is ready in your location.
In my previous post regarding on how to check if DITO already have Signal in your place even without DITO Sim card.
This post will also help you to verify if you are already covered with DITO signal.
As I keep on digging to gather more info, so far, everything is working fine.
Even though it needs more time and energy to spend, no matter what happens, I will do what ever I can to compile all here.
For now, lets us see the current status update of DITO Telecommunity.

DITO Telecom Current Status Update:
DITO Telecom already ended its 30 days audit / consolidation of reports. The technical launch commenced last month Thursday, January 07, 2021.
The technical launch implies that the Dito network will be prepared for technical audit from the NTC (National Telecommunications Commission).
According to Dito, the test will be completed within 30 days and additional 15 days will be needed to consolidate and prepare the final report.
We are now in its 15 days for the report to be generated that will be release by 4th week of February 2021, before its commercial launch next month March 8, 2021.
Going back on how to check DITO Telecom signal coverage here in the Philippines.
There is just a simple tools that we need that is available online. Each of us can simply download it using our smartphones.
The Speedtest tool is available for Android and iOS users. It is also downloadable in Google Play and App Store.
Once you downloaded the Speedtest App by Ookla, you can just easy, procced a one-tap connection internet performance and speed test.
You can also use their free Speedtest VPN to ensures your online privacy and security from the convenience of your Speedtest® mobile application.
They have Real-time graphs show connection consistency
You can also use this tool to track past tests with detailed reporting.
You can check out if you have the app for other features.

Note: This is only available for all Android users.
This feature is where we can explore mobile network coverage maps based on real-world data gathered by the Speedtest app. It visualize many mobile carrier networks’ availability down to the street level, right in the app.
Recently, DITO Telecom has been listed in their Database as one of the Top Provider in the Philippines.
You can find this in the Map > then simply swipe up. In the image below, you can see that DITO is already added followed by other providers such as Globe, Smart and Sun Cellular.
Once you selected DITO, the results will only filter specifically for DITO's currently coverage in the Philippines.
Then, you can zoom in to your currently location and see whether you place already been cover.
But to understand this better, we need to learn what are the color indicators are for. Those are the dots all over the country;
- Yellow is 2G/3G
- Aqua is LTE
- Blue is 5G
- and Red is None
See closer look in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
And that's just simply is it. It is really basic, easy to follow but yet useful.
If you find out that your location still not covered with DITO. Don't worry, it will be available very soon. DITO facilities such as Cell Site Towers and Internet Data Centers (IDC).
DITO Telecom Commercial Launch Next Month
Soon, DITO Telecom services will be available for us next month March. Physical stores will be open in some major malls. It is where you can buy Sim Card.
Once their service will start, for sure, Philippines Ookla Speedtest Global Index internet speed ranking will bring us higher as it will boost our impact internationally.
