How Fast Dito Telecom's Internet Connection?

Do you have a very slow internet speed? Have you tried all of other internet service providers here in the Philippines? Did you test how fast their internet speed? How to check telecom internet connection speed? Does your internet plan fits your needs?

If you are experiencing slow internet connection using your cellular data, that may seems to be that you are connected or reconnected to other server. The other internet providers which refers to Globe or Smart-PLDT, has its overall of which is currently at the 23.80Mbps average download speed of the country.

If you wonder how does your internet connecting speed goes, you may want to test your internet speed using some free tools online. As I do research about it, you can use either SpeedTest.Net or Fast.Com. These websites offers free internet speed test service.

Once you've done the test of your current speed and seeing the results, maybe it is the time that you start checking once you face slow internet connection. Use this as your reference to compare in your plan or any other needs. Then you see if does it really fits in you or still seeking for better and stable internet.

Slow internet connection may be in different issues. It is either your device case from your modem or router, Wi-Fi signal, signal strength on your cable line, devices on your network saturating your bandwidth, or even a slow DNS server or technical issues from the provider.

You may already know that DITO Telecom will be the 3rd major telecommunications company in the Philippines. Dito Telecommunity was granted its permit to operate after President Rodrigo Duterte awarded the Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity by the National Telecommunications Commission to its chairman Dennis Uy during a ceremony at the Presidential Palace, Malacañang.

Faster internet connection is what Filipino people demand. We are facing this pandemic (Covid-19), most of us are currently more on our smartphones, laptops or desktops. Internet is what we need and the speed matters.

Recently, Dito Telecom is spotted its server on Ookla’s Speedtest website. This is to confirm that DITO is still pushing for its 37% area coverage by July despite the COVID-19 pandemic. There are test been made as their technical launch. Part of the requirements provided by the government is at least 27 megabits per second (Mbps).

Speedtest.net by Ookla has a definitive way to test the speed and performance of your internet connection. There commitment to providing transparency into the performance of networks is what drives them.

All you need is an internet connection and you can choose any server that’s available from Ookla. You will see the result seems promising. But this doesn't mean that DITO Telecom services is already available to the public.
